Ushering

USHERING GROUP
This is a hospitality or care-givers group serving in the house of God to show, guide, escort and care for people who are entering the church to get comfortable seats. They help show them round the church and go errand for members within the church or for the church if need be. Their work is very broad as they do several other things apart from welcoming members and guests in the church. Their works are not limited to:
>helping in the smooth running of church service.
>ministering to people in several ways.
>greeting people as they arrive for service.
>assisting people with special needs.
>distributing flyers, cards, tracts to others in church.
>helping to collect offerings, etc.
The heart of an usher is the heart of a servant working for God. (Col 3:24, Psalm 84:10). Jesus is the greatest usher ever. If this is your area of calling or you have a deep interest in ushering, you are invited to join this group.
